Course Curriculum

Module 1 – Introduction

In this module, learners will understand the key objectives of the program. The introductory session also explains some basics on the course usage. Each person has their unique personality, their way of operating and behaviour. It is important that we, as managers, understand the different personalities of our team members, so that we can connect with them effectively. Understanding personalities also helps us to assign appropriate work to our team members with the confidence that the work will get done.

Going through the course will help in equipping the learners with skills needed to improve their managerial and communication effectiveness.

Module 2 – Challenge of working with different people in a remote environment

In this module, learners explore the different challenges they face while working in a remote environment. Learners will also get an overview on how to understand the personalities of their team members.

Module 3 – Personality Styles Assessment

This module will help learners understand how to assess personality styles of their team members. Be ready with a pen & paper for this module. Learners go through a quick questionnaire to understand the personality of their team members.

Module 4 – Understanding the DISC Personality Styles

Learners understand the DISC behavioural style. DISC is an acronym used for identifying personality traits in individuals. The DISC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and to adapt their behaviours with others within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships.

Module 5 – Identifying DISC styles of others

Learners will learn to identify DISC personality styles in others. Technically, it is not always possible for anyone to answer a questionnaire always if they have to identify the personality style of their team members. In this module, learners will learn an easier way to identify personality styles using the OAR methodology.

Module 6 – Using DISC for Remote Teams

In this module, learners will explore effective ways of communicating with different personalities. Using the insights from DISC, they will be able to flex their communication style to communicate, motivate and collaborate with their remote team members better.

Module 7 – In Summary

The entire program has been summarized and key insights highlighted so that learners can start applying these techniques quickly and effectively.
